I got my CE200 from …
I got my CE200 from a piano/music store. Before I bought it, I inquired to see if they had it, and they did. But, the owner wanted to know how I heard about the CE200. And I told her from this demonstration video on You Tube. She told me this piano was more for teachers, I guess because of how you can split the keyboard for teacher and student. And actually in this particular piano store I didn’t see any CA line. Not unless the CA line was in anorther one of their stores.

Incorrect regarding …
Incorrect regarding “doesn’t exist”. The CE200 is more readily available at ‘big box” music retailers, on line, etc., while the CA series is reserved for piano stores. You are 100% correct, however, that the CA line is much better!

The CE series doesn’t exist anymore, and the Ca line is much better.

Just curious… where and when do you see “multiple buttons” being pushed to perform anything on this model? Have you tried adjusting layered or split volume balance on the Y versus this Kawai?

The Y brand makes lots of nice stuff, too. I have much respect for them. Anyone should buy the piano that feels and sounds best to them. Regarding this particular piano, I must point out the most useful function (in my opinion) is the ability to mix the volume between split or layered sounds right on a volume slider on the panel in real time. I’m surprised all DP’s don’t work this way. Anyway… thanks for your kind comments.

This looks like a fantastic DP, and you demonstrate it well, but I still prefer the interface in most of Yamaha’s DPs, it’s much easier to use as you don’t have to hold down multiple buttons so much to perform functions. That said though, I think the big advantage to this piano compared to the Yamaha Clavinova line is that you can order the Kawai online, the Clavinovas you must track down a dealer for. Sucks for people like me who live in the country. =(
