And are they worth anything now? Even if the piano isn’t in great condition?

    Yes it was common, plastics did not become widely-used replacements until 1950s.

    They are probably worth something to someone – please note that it is not possible to sell ivory using ebay and some other auction sites (they have banned any trade in ivory).
